Rademacher Financial, Inc. will be holding a food drive October 15th through November 15th to help Just Food, the food bank in Douglas County.
Just Food, supplies more than 35 partner agencies with food donated from food drives, as well as access to frozen meat, fresh produce and bread. Just Food also provides direct service to clients: providing food to more than 45,000 people annually through a food pantry, administration of two federal food commodities programs, holding a monthly mobile food pantry, and participating in cooking and nutrition classes for low-income residents. More information can be found at www.justfoodks.org.
While every donation is greatly appreciated, here is a list of items that are always needed:
- Canned Fruit
- Dry Pasta
- Whole Wheat Grains
- Brown Rice
- Baby Food
- Feminine Hygiene Products
- Toilet Paper
- Canned Meat (Tuna or Chicken)
- Peanut Butter
Donations will be taken at our office during regular office hours the entire month. For every item donated, Rademacher Financial, Inc. will donate one dollar to Just Food.
I encourage you to join us in our efforts to help our less-fortunate neighbors as the holidays draw near.
